Home buyer Education Learning Program (HELP)

An educational program sponsored by the FHA which counsels potential home owners about the home buying process. HELP discusses such topics as budgeting, finding a home, qualifying for a loan, and home maintenance. In many cases, completing the HELP program entitles home buyers to a reduced initial FHA mortgage insurance premium, from 2.25%-1.75% off the home purchase price.
